Our tour guide Danillo was AMAZING!! He was very friendly to all and very knowledgeable about past and present information along the way with no shortage of cheesy jokes! The stops were great with exception of the lighthouse, seeing as we were stopping at the cafe/bakery minutes down the road. The cafe/bakery in Davenport is a must stop! Lots of time in Monterey to explore the great views, shopping & dining. Mile 17 is a MUST drive for scenery, luxury homes and golf courses. Although, not nearly enough time was given for golf enthusiasts to see everything at Pebble Beach. Carmel has a lot of shopping, dining and a beach but one hour was not enough time to explore it all. For me, it definitely would be a 5 star review if the stops were adjusted to allow more time at the featured stops. The price was reasonable for all the places visited.

Liked this tour a lot. It was nice having to see the different sites, without also doing the driving. It was our 1st trip to San Fran, so for us to drive down the Pacific Coast Highway, stopping in Monterrey, doing the 17-mile drive stopping at Pebble Beach, and then Carmel. We got to experience a lot, and enjoyed all of it.

Danillo was very accommodating and knowledgeable. The lighthouse stop and coffee stop were both well below my expectations. The amenities were unusable at the Pigeon Point lighthouse (and it was a construction zone) while the Davenport coffee/ amenity stop was totally inadequate. Can I suggest future routes head for something clean and organized in Santa Cruz instead. We spent a ridiculous amount of time in Davenport because the cafe couldn't accommodate us and yet saw nothing of Santa Cruz which would have several options.

Itinerary

Travel scenic California’s Pacific Coast Highway 1 to the beautiful Monterey Peninsula, famous for its spectacular ocean views, abundant wildlife, and historical past. Make stops at Cannery Row, made famous by John Steinbeck, and visit great shops and restaurants overlooking the Pacific, not to mention the world-famous Monterey Aquarium.

Next, travel through the famous 17-Mile Drive and see Pebble Beach Golf Course. Photo stops will be made along this gorgeous drive. Our tour continues to Carmel by the sea, where ample time is given to walk through this charming town dotted with lovely shops and beautiful architecture.

07:40am: Departure from Post Street pickup location

08:00am: Departure from Leavenworth pickup location

08:30 - 12:00am: Travel along the California Coast on Highway 1, one of the most famous and scenic highways in the United States. We will stop at an amazing vista point for you to brag something to eat and take some great photos of the Pacific Ocean.

12:00 - 2:00pm: The first stop will be at Monterey’s Cannery Row, very walkable and charming area to explore. You can stroll along the stores and restaurants and spend some time at the beach. You can even visit the world-famous Monterey Bay Aquarium a very recommendable attraction for families and for the ones interested in nature.

Note: Check Monterey Bay Aquarium for their prices and availability.

2:00 - 4:00pm: We'll continue our journey winding your way through the breathtaking 17-Mile Drive. We’ll stop at amazing places, like Seal Rock, The Lone Cypress and Pebble Beach, so you can be pleased by the scenic views and take some photos.

4:00 - 5:00pm: Last stop will be at Carmel Plaza, and you will have plenty of time to explore the charming Carmel-by-the-sea. Their storybook Cottages look like they have stepped straight out of a fairy tale. Its cobblestone streets, lined with boutiques, galleries and tasting rooms, make the city even more charming.

Take your time strolling along the Ocean Avenue and the white sand beach, shopping the city's many interesting and fun stores, and exploring Carmel's “Secret” Passages.

05:30 - 07:30pm: Time to make our way back to San Francisco and conclude the tour at your pickup location.
