Lokma

Looking for a unique breakfast opportunity? Lokma, located on Clement Street will give you an introduction to Turkish breakfast. Their menu offers more traditional items such as Menemen (tomatoes, peppers, eggs and feta cheese) or Simit (Turkish Bagel) as well as a play on American breakfast items such as a breakfast sandwich or pancakes. Both items are elevated by Turkish flavors, which make the dish even more tasty. Breakfast and Brunch are only offered on the weekends, so plan accordingly if you are interested in giving this place a try. Lokma’s staff are very friendly, helpful and hospitable. This restaurant even offers gift cards through their website if you are interested in gifting this experience to a friend.

In order to save time, make sure you order ahead otherwise you will run into long line especially on the weekends. If you prefer to dine there, the restaurant does offer comfortable outdoor seating. Dottie’s True Blue Café

This breakfast restaurant can be found at 6th & Stevenson street. This café stands out for its fun outdoor seating on their rooftop patio. Dottie’s True Blue Café is known for its traditional American breakfast and other pastries. We recommend you get here early in order to score seating on their rooftop patio. This is a perfect spot to escape the frenzy of the city, especially if you are near or discovering downtown San Francisco. The rooftop is decorated with plants to make you feel at home and the café offers umbrellas to keep you under the shade on sunny days. My personal favorite is Dottie’s famous pancakes served with pure maple syrup on the side and their fresh-squeezed orange juice.

Hollywood Café

If you are staying near Fisherman’s Wharf or exploring the area during your morning walk, this is a nice breakfast spot for you to try. What I love about this cafe is the fresh orange juice and freshly brewed coffee. Hollywood Café has lots of breakfast options, including pancakes or waffles that you can customize. If you want something more savory try the ranchero tacos with a side with eggs. If you are planning to bike the bridge, this is a great start point for your day.

Honey Honey Cafe and Crepery

This restaurant offers traditional American breakfast and crepes. If you are looking for a sweet start to your day, Honey Honey Café and Crepery is your spot. It’s a perfect chill spot and typically not overcrowded. This is a place where you can find options such as morning favorites including savory and dessert crepes and lunch alternatives like soup, salad, and sandwiches. They offer comfortable outdoor seating as well. My favorite is French toast which is served with fresh strawberries.
