Another one-day attraction which we can recommend is the Escape From The Rock Boat Tour. One of the most iconic landmarks of San Francisco remains to be Alcatraz, the prison island in the bay. The Escape from the Rock Boat tour is your best alternative when Alcatraz tours sell out. After you sail under the Golden Gate Bridge, you’ll circle Alcatraz Island and see every angle of this mysterious island. With sound effects and stories about famous inmates, you’ll have a clear picture of what life in this maximum-security prison was like.

Did you know that you can combine this attraction with tours like City Tour or Muir Woods & Sausalito Tour?

You can check the combination options here.

You can check Escape From The Rock – stand-alone ticket here.
